Nevada Health Centers is 501 (c) 3 nonprofit Community Health Center currently operating throughout frontier, rural, and urban areas of Nevada. Nevada Health Centers is founded on the principle that all people, regardless of where they live or their ability to pay, has the right to quality health care services.
NVHC is the largest provider of primary care for the uninsured and/or geographically isolated in the state with 17 health centers throughout the state of Nevada including a mobile mammography van and a mobile dental care van. In some cases, the rural health centers operated by NVHC are the only health care facilities for hundreds of miles. NVHC's medical and dental facilities are based on a family practice model, offering screening services for children and adults including immunizations, prenatal and newborn care, deliveries and special gynecological care, acute medical care and minor surgery, management of chronic medical problems, family planning, health education, basic diagnostic laboratory, after hours service, basic x-ray, restorative and preventive dentistry and pharmacy.
