The Mission of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation is to provide social, emotional, educational, financial and psychological support services and programs to families of ALL children diagnosed with life threatening or critical illnesses such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, hemophilia, renal disorders, and immunologic diseases and provide healing arts and wellness programs to adults touched by cancer.
The goal of NCCF is to improve the quality of life for critically ill children in Southern Nevada and for adults touched by cancer and hosts two valley locations and two websites for program information: Visit www.nvccf.org for pediatric programs and services and visit www.thecaringplacenv.org for wellness and support programs for adults touched by cancer. NCCF supports children and their families by providing financial support, psychological support, and education services allowing children to continue their education as they fight a daily battle against disease.
You Can Help by Providing Goods
Please consider donating non-perishable food items for families in need, gift cards to grocery stores and/or Wal-Mart, gas cards for transportation to and from medical appointments, as well as backpacks and school supplies for children in NCCF’s education program.
You Can Help by Volunteering
Volunteers are needed to work at special events throughout the year and at Camp Cartwheel - the NCCF summer camp program. Volunteers may contact NCCF to receive more information.
You Can Help by Offering Your Services
NCCF provides over 45 programs and services AT NOT COST to critically ill children, their families, and adults touched by cancer.
NCCF accepts monetary donations throughout the year to support programs and services specifically serving children and adults in the Southern Nevada community.
Non-perishable food donations for families in need along with gift cards to grocery stores and/or Wal-Mart.
