The Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas has exhibits on the history of the Nevada Test Site and testing in the Pacific.
Now in their temporary gallery is "How to Photograph an Atomic Bomb," an original photo exhibit based on the work of documentary filmmaker Peter Kuran. It shows photographers preparing for and shooting atomic explosions and the resulting devestation and mushroom clouds.
Admission to the gallery is free. Admission to the museum is
$12, $9 for seniors (65+), students (with student I.D.), youth (7-17), and Nevada residents. Free for children under 6. It's in the Rogers Building at the Desert Research Institute, 755 East Flamingo Road, Las Vegas. The museum's website is here.
