Talk on new rose varieties

The South Valley Rose Society and University of Nevada Cooperative Extension are host free talks once a month. They start at 7 p.m. and are at the Lifelong Learning Center, located at 8050 Paradise Road, Las Vegas (I-215 and Windmill Lane).

November 22: "New Varieties of Shrub and Landscape Roses" Steve Schneider, Consulting Rosarian.
How do hybrid teas, floribundas, grande floras, and miniatures differ from onr another? What are Old Garden Roses? What are self-cleaning roses? Why are the markets expanding into new varieties?
