The American Cancer Society's "Road to Recovery" program needs volunteers to provide transportation to cancer patients to and from medical appointments.

Volunteer donate their time and use their own vehicle. Rides are offered to cancer patients who have no means of transportation and/or who are too ill to drive themselves. Many need daily or weekly treatment over the course of several months.
